Μέγα και παράδοξον θαύμα

Το λάθος

  Ο Αλέξανδρος έχει το ταλέντο να φαντάζεται τις πιο δυνατές λιτές μεταφορές για τη ζωή, και να μας τις μεταφέρει με την πιο ευθεία και αιχμηρή γλώσσα. Το ποίημα που δημοσίευσε απόψε και η Αγγλική μου διασκευή ακολουθούν: -- Το λάθος -- Τι τραγικό λάθος κείνο το πρωί που απ' τη χαρά μας φορέσαμε τη μπλούζα της ψυχής ανάποδα. Είδαν οι άλλοι τις ραφές και πότε παίζοντας, πότε κανιβαλίζοντας, τράβα ο ένας, τράβα ο άλλος, έγινε η ψυχή μας κουρελού γεμάτη τρύπες και ξεσκίδια. Κι έχει ένα κρύο απόψε, ένα κρύο... -- Alexandros has the talent to imagine the most powerful and unadorned metaphors for life, and to convey them to us in the most direct and sharpest language.
