There are flowers
that pierce the asphalt
They don't live much
The exhaustion of wrestling,
their hazardous position
overwhelm them
But the miracle has happened
It is the elevation to the sun
of a seed
that was not given
hope
The pleasure of cracks
in the compact pernicious asphalt
and the smiles of the bystanders
are
in front of this paradoxical and merry
uprising
Μέγα και παράδοξον θαύμα
Υπάρχουν λουλούδια
που τρυπούν την άσφαλτο.
Δε ζουν πολύ.
Η εξάντληση της πάλης,
η επικινδυνότητα της θέσης,
τα καταβάλλουν.
Το θαύμα όμως έχει συντελεστεί.
Είναι η ανύψωση
προς τον ήλιο
ενός σπόρου
που δεν του δόθηκε
ελπίδα.
Η ηδονή των ρωγμών
στο συμπαγές ολέθριο κατράμι
και τα χαμόγελα των εωρακότων
είναι
μπρος στην παράδοξη
και ευφρόσυνη
έγερση.
